REHABILITATION AND DETOXIFICATION PROGRAMME FOR PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM ADDICTION
This programme is based on the ‘therapeutic community’ approach and draws on more than twenty years of experience. In this group, patients share their moods, feelings and states of mind. The aim is to gradually realign the system of individual, family and social responsibilities in order to achieve two main goals: overcoming deficits and changing lifestyles.
Addiction treatment and rehabilitation:
This programme focuses on detoxification and rehabilitation for people whose physical, mental and social integrity is threatened by this health problem. It was developed with the help of a multidisciplinary and specialised medical team in a natural environment.
The programme lasts at least three months, including a subsequent relapse phase, and allows for the re-evaluation and confirmation of the therapy applied. It leads to an improvement in well-being and self-esteem, social and family reintegration, and physical progress. According to many years of research experience, it achieves a cure rate of 45%. The programme has been recognised by the Cuban Scientific Society in the field of psychiatry. It consists of two phases.
Addiction rehabilitation programme:
